Dennis Finn, 74, Dies Suddenly;
Longtime Oneonta Civic Leader
ONEONTA – Word has been received that Dennis Finn, 74, engineer and Oneonta civic leader, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, May 18, 2017.
Mr. Finn, an avid pilot who was involved in the construction of the municipal airport in the 1960s, was currently chairman of the city Planning Commission.
He had served as Airport Commission chairman and, as a member of the commission, helped organize 50th anniversary ceremonies last September, and attended a commission meeting the evening before his passing.
