Campaign Events Wednesday

In Towns Of Milford, Oneonta

The campaign season is in full swing leading up to local elections Tuesday, Nov. 7, with events planned in the towns of Milford and Oneonta tomorrow evening.

As 7 p.m. at the new community center (former American Legion) in Milford, a meet and greet will feature incumbent Meg Kennedy and challenger Pat Ryan, who are running for county representative in the Hartwick, Milford and New Lisbon district.

Also attending are three candidates vying for two town board seats, Marsha Membrino and write-ins Kristen Velasco and Thomas Gale.  Two town justice candidates, Judith Russell and Ken Sosnowski, will also attend.

Also at 7 p.m. in Oneonta Town Hall, an evening organized by the League of Women Voters includes statements by county Rep. Andrew Stammel and his challenger, Breck Tarbell; a panel discussion by town board candidates, and a debate between Town Supervisor Bob Wood and challenger Mike Butler.
