County Seeking Applications

For Community Event Grants

COOPERSTOWN – Applications for Otsego County grants to help underwrite local events that attract visitors to the county are now being sought, county Rep. Meg Kennedy, who chairs the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, has announced.

The Community Grant Funds – up to $4,000 per event – help organizers pay for artistic, professional, and advertising costs associated with event planning.  Organizations are limited to one grant each.

The only application is available at www.otsegocounty.com, and will be accepted through midnight, Feb. 28.

If you have questions, call Kennedy at 607-434-2407, or email her at kennedym@otsegocounty.com.
