County Democratic Committee Backs Herzig, Bernier

ONEONTA –  The Otsego County Democratic Committee’s Executive Board has endorsed Gary Herzig for mayor of Oneonta and City Judge Lucy Bernier for another term, county Chair Richard Abbate announced this evening.

The Executive Board’s recommendations will go before the full committee for endorsement Wednesday in a meeting in Oneonta Town Hall.

The executive board endorsed numerous candidates when it met March 5, but at candidates’ request will not be making the full list public until May, according to Abbate.  Meanwhile, he encourages anyone interested in running in the November elections to schedule an interview by contacting party Secretary Mike Henrici at mikehenrici@gmail.com
