Daisy S. Rodriguez

ONEONTA – Daisy Sue Rodriguez, 59, passed away unexpectedly while taking care of her son on Sunday, April 2, 2017, in Schenectady.

She was born Oct. 22, 1957, in Oneonta, the daughter of the late William and Ruby May (Kingsley) Stone.

Daisy graduated from Unatego Central School and then Utica School of Commerce.


For many years she worked for Sanyo in Oneonta and took several trips to Japan. She also worked at Annutto’s Farm Stand. She owned her own cleaning service, “Clean as a Daisy” and for the past several years, Daisy helped take care of the Otego Evergreen Cemetery. She took pride in making it look nice. She also worked for Royce at Otego Sales making deliveries.

Daisy enjoyed taking cruises and dancing, most recently she was taking dancing lessons.

Daisy was the most kind and loving person you’ve ever known.

Daisy is survived by her son, William Rodriguez of Oneonta; her companion, Royce Livingston of Otego; siblings, John, Bill, Ray and Donna; and her second family, Ljiljana, Branko Jr. and Nik Bacanovic.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Ruthy and Mike.

A memorial service will take place at noon, Sunday, April 9, at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oneonta with the Rev. Fred Albrecht officiating.
