Wins The SADD Run

Runners take off up East Street in Oneonta this morning as the start annual SADD Run 5K. Mike Roda, Oneonta, in blue, finished in first place with a time of 16:33. Behind him are Alexander Kahl, Jon Hendley, Tom Slicer, Scott Hornung, Michael Hamilton, Paul Zimmer, Gavin Fetterman and Jeffrey Bullis. At right is Suzanne Swantak-Furman, first woman to cross the finish line with a time of 25:24. The race was proceeded by a information fair in the gymnasium of the Oneonta High School where many local organizations were tabling. Afterwards, runners enjoyed Chobani yogurt and bagels provided by Hannaford. (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
