WORCESTER – Father Ronald L. Green, 64, a police officer who became a Maryknoll missionary to Africa and, since 2009, had been administrator of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church here, died Aug. 6, 2017, at Maryknoll in the Hudson Valley.

He was 64 years old and had been a Maryknoll priest for 32 years.

He was born in Monroe, Mich, on March 1, 1953, the son James Paul and Noreen (Fortman) Green. He was proud to be a Spartan and was a South Rockwood, Mich., policeman for four years.
