Outlaws drop
season opener
at Saugerties

Host Saugerties broke open a tie game with 10 runs in the middle innings to top Oneonta in the opening game of the 2021 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League season, 13-9.

Oneonta High graduate Keaton Mark went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Outlaws, who also got five RBI from catcher Baylor Lobb.

Matthew Dubois took the loss for Oneonta, giving up 10 runs, six earner, on eight hits in 5.2 innings.

Richie Cimpric got the win in relief for the Stallions, who got four RBI from designated hitter Jakob Marquez.

Oneonta’s home opener Friday against Mohawk Valley has been postponed. The new home opener is scheduled at Damaschke Field at 7 p.m., Monday, June 7, against Albany.

The Outlaws are at Elmira for a game at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 5.
