Oneonta boys blank SV

Findlay Oliver scored twice and had an assist as Oneonta shut out host Susquehanna Valley, 4-0, in a Center State Conference game Thursday, Sept. 9.

Mackey Peyton headed in a goal and also had an assist, while Dakota Buzzy also scored on a header.

Matthew Rubin had two assists for Oneonta, (2-0, 2-0), which hosts rival Norwich at 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13.

In Tri-Valley League action Thursday, Worcester got boys and girls wins in soccer, including a boys win over rival Schenevus.

BOYS SOCCER

Worcester 2, Schenevus 1

In Worcester, Alex Adams and Jalen Reardon scored on assists from Ben Ballard and Connor Fancher as the Wolverines got a big TVL win.

Cody Feil scored for the Dragons on a pass from Cody Keator.

GIRLS SOCCER

Worcester 5, G-MU 0

In Gilbertsville, Iriyah Haley scored twice and Sophia Adams had a goal and an assist as the Wolverines won a TVL match.

Hailey Shalor and Makenna Ventuleth each scored for Worcester as well.

G-MU goalie Mackenzie Barnes made 14 saves.

Sullivan West 3, Morris 1  

In Downsville, Morris lost a non-league tournament game despite a goal from Hannah Wist on a pass from Hannah Swayer. Morris plays Walton in the consolation game Saturday, Sept. 11.

VOLLEYBALL

Windsor 3, Oneonta 0

In Oneonta, Abby Platt led the Yellowjackets with six assists, four kills and two aces, but Windsor swept a Southern Tier Athletic Conference match.

Cassie Bellmore had 15 assists to lead the Black Knights, who also got  12 digs from Ciera Adams.
