IN MEMORIAM: Diana L. Roseboom, Oneonta

ONEONTA – Diana L. Roseboom, 71, who raised four children locally, passed away on December 9, 2016, at Bassett Hospital.

Diana was born in Meridale on Aug. 7, 1945, to Homer and Blanch (Payne) Loucks. She married Morgan Roseboom in Oneonta in 1963.

Diana was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in West Oneonta.

She loved to shop and loved doing so at Walmart; also to eat out, especially at Brooks BBQ. She also enjoyed gardening. Above all, Diana loved her family as she spent her days as a homemaker raising her children.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Morgan Roseboom; her children Troy (Joann) Roseboom, Miles Roseboom, Travis Roseboom and Jason Roseboom; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; very devoted companion Kira the great dane; her brother Sony Loucks and his wife Sandy; her sister Shirley Dahl and her husband Bob; and many other loving family members.

She was predeceased by her brother Orban Loucks and her sisters Betty Sampson and Joan Holbrook.
Services for Diana will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be made to Diana’s family at www.johnsonfh.
