With deer-hunting season underway, the county Solid Waste Department is reminding customers that animal carcasses/body parts from wildlife shall be accepted at the Oneonta and Cooperstown transfer stations with the following conditions:

• Material must be double-bagged using 3 ml contractor’s bags only
• Tell scale operators you have carcasses for disposal
• Do not put out carcasses/body parts in curb-side pickup
• Fees will be charged at scale rate for disposal
