FEMA work to close Rt. 31 St. Rt. 31 on the East side of Otsego Lake will be closed beginning Monday, May 2 and ending Thursday, May 12. The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be conducting a project to reinforce the banks on that road, necessitating its closure. Motorists should use St. Rt. 80 on the West side of the lake to detour around the work.
