Kelly Ames, Carol Mandigo

Oneonta’s 2019 Trailblazers

ONEONTA – Kelly Ames and Carol Mandigo will be awarded the 2019 Woman Trailblazer Awards, Joyce Miller, who chairs the city’s Commission on Community Relations & Human Rights, announced over the weekend.

Ames is active in social service organizations, including serving on the Family Service Association board.  Mandigo, a LEAF prevention specialist, is also a muralist and a leader of the First Night organization.

A recognition ceremony and reception is planned at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the City Hall lobby prior to the Common Council meeting.
