IN MEMORIAM: Carl Mondillo, 72; Guitarist, Played Pool With The Best ONEONTA – Carl Anthony Mondillo, 72, remembered by friends for his guitar-playing and pool-playing skills, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, with his loving wife, Sandra at his bedside. Carl was the son of Tony and Pauline Mondillo of Schaffer Avenue. After graduating from high school in 1962, Carl joined the Army and was stationed in Germany.
