Tri-Valley softball,
baseball titles to be
decided Thursday, June 3

Weather permitting, the Tri-Valley League will determine its 2021 champions in softball and baseball Thursday, June 3.

In a battle featuring potential merger partners, top-seeded Schenevus is scheduled to host No. 2 Worcester at 4:30 p.m. in Schenevus.

The Dragons beat Richfield Springs in the semifinals, 6-5, Tuesday, June 1. Sam Osborne had a walk-off single to score Sam Barrett.

Worcester beat Morris, 8-6, in the other semifinal Tuesday. Delimar Vega has five strikeouts and got the win, while also scoring two runs and hitting a double for the Wolverines.

In baseball, top seeded Edmeston will host No. 3 Sharon Springs/Cherry Valley-Springfield, at 4:30 p.m., Thursday in Edmeston.

The Panthers blanked Milford on Tuesday, 10-0, in the baseball semifinal. Josh Martin got the win for Edmeston.

SS/CV-S beat host Schenevus, 11-9, Tuesday in Schenevus. Luke Dubben got the win, striking out nine Dragon batters. Kyle France had four RBI and Dylan Huff had three RBI.
