IN MEMORIAM: Victor (Vic) Sinnott, 87

COOPERSTOWN – Victor (Vic) Sinnott, 87, passed away on Thursday Jan. 4, 2018.

He was born April 6, 1930 in Brooklyn, and moved to Cooperstown in 1983.

Vic was surrounded at his death by his children Daniel, Patricia, Kathleen and her husband Paul Gardner, John and his wife Zhayde, Maureen (Sinnott) Heffernan, and by four of his grandchildren – Jennifer (Sinnott) McCartney and Nicole, Amanda, and Frank Heffernan. He also leaves behind grandchildren Christopher (Jen) Sinnott, Vito, Brook, and Cody Sinnott, his great-grandchildren, his sister Roberta Wood of Middlefield, and nieces and nephews. Vic was predeceased by his loving wife, Anne, and daughter Eileen.

At his request, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of his life will take place in the Spring. A full obituary will follow.

Arrangements are with Tillapaugh Funeral Service, Cooperstown.

Piper Seamon 5th CCS Girl To Hit High Mark The Cooperstown Central student section erupts as Piper Seamon scores her 1,000th career point in the Hawkeyes’ 57-39 win over Waterville at home last evening.
