ONEONTA – Construction of the City of Oneonta’s new Downtown Streetscape will begin next Monday, the 11th, Community Development Director Bill Kerbin announced today.

ARCHITECT’S REPORT

Work will begin on the corners of Chestnut Street and Main Street, and will proceed eastward block by block.  Work will occur weekdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. 

Weekend hours of operation are not anticipated, but hours of operation are subject to change due to weather conditions or other unexpected circumstances.  All work should be completed by the end of June.

All sidewalks and streets will remain open, but there will be some limited access in parts of downtown during the project. This limited access will include closed off sections of sidewalks and closed off parking spaces.
