Sidney Man Charged With Shooting Cow SIDNEY – State police have charged a 22-year-old Sidney man for shooting a cow. On Tuesday, troopers at Sidney arrested Nevin D. Cutting, 22, for felonies of aggravated cruelty to animals, criminal mischief 2nd degree and the misdemeanor of illegally discharging a firearm. Police Close Spruce Street Stabbing Case

As Witnesses Withdraw, Stabbing Probe Closed ONEONTA – City police have closed the investigation into last Wednesday’s stabbing on Spruce Street, saying neither man involved wished to press charges. “During the course of our investigation, both of them told us they were not interested in pursuing the case further,” said Lt.
