$1.1 MILLION TOWER TRUCK

ON CITY COUNCIL’S AGENDA

When it meets Tuesday, Oneonta Common Council will vote on buying a 100 Mid Mount Platform Fire Truck from Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. through the competitive procurement process conducted by HGAC (Houston-Galveston Area Council).  The truck will cost $1.1 million, with $500,000 provided by state Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, and Assemblyman Bill Magee, D-Nelson, $400,000 from the city's public safety equipment reserve, and $192,519 from the general fund.
