New Door, After One

Taken By High Wind

Contractor George Macaluso, right, puts a new door on 21 Railroad Ave., Cooperstown, home of The Freeman’s Journal and Hometown Oneonta, as well as other offices. The door was caught and smashed by a gust of the winds up to 55 mph that came through Otsego County Wednesday, April 3. Terry Young assists George. Because 21 Railroad is a historic building, the door had to be special-ordered to match the original. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
