Civil Rights Tour To Cooperstown

This morning in the Hall of Plaques, Mo'ne Davis holds up the jersey she donated to the Baseball Hall of Fame last year; she was in Cooperstown today with her team, the Anderson Monarchs, as part of their Civil Rights Barnstorming Tour, dramatizing young people, about their age, killed a half-century ago during resistance to desegration in the South. This morning in the Hall of Plaques, Mo’ne Davis holds up the jersey she donated to the Baseball Hall of Fame last year; she wore it while pitching in the Little League World Series.  Mo’ne was in Cooperstown today with her team, the Anderson Monarchs of Philadelphia, as part of their Civil Rights Barnstorming Tour, dramatizing young people, about their age, killed a half-century ago during resistance to desegration in the South.
