After County Resolution,

CSEA Changes Its Mind

On Benefits To Laid-Off

The Otsego County Board of Representatives Wednesday, May 20, unanimously passed this resolution seeking to sweeten benefits to the 59 employees being laid off. The employees union, the Civil Service Employees Association, intitially rejected the offer, without explanation. By week’s end,
due to pressure from employees, county board Chairman David Bliss believes, the CSEA changed
its mind and accepted the offer.
