Rising CCS 7th Graders

Scarlett Band, top photo, with sister Leila by her side, waves to friends and family along Main Street, Cooperstown, a few minutes ago during a parade, organized by Cooperstown Elementary School, to celebrate the sixth graders rising to the CCS Middle School this fall. Jacob Johnson, right, rode one of the most lively of the vehicles, which were decorated by the kids and their families at the school parking lot, and escorted by a Cooperstown police cruiser and two fire trucks. The sixth graders will be the CCS Class of 2026. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
