Vax and scratch to be extended at SUNY Oneonta

Bassett Healthcare will be extending its “Vax and Scratch” lottery for people who get COVID vaccinations at SUNY Oneonta and are 18 years old or older.

The grand prize is $5 million and will be available until Friday, June 11.

Bassett will also be deploying a Bluetooth alert system technology in an effort to curb workplace violence. Bassett is the first healthcare company in the country to do this,
according to a media release.

Auditions to be held for Halloween show

Bigger Boat Productions and Stuff of Dreams Productions will hold auditions for actors for the production of Shirley Jackson’s “The Haunting of Hill House” in October.

Open auditions will be held for women from age 25 to 55. Auditions will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday June 13, and 7 p.m., Monday June 14, in the production center of Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center.
