Rachael H. Kuch-Cecconi, M.D.

CCS grad now a prof

Rachael H. Kuch-Cecconi, M.D., a 2007 graduate of Cooperstown High School, was recently appointed to Upstate Medical University’s Department of Psychiatry as a clinical assistant professor.

She will be practicing clinically as a child and adolescent psychiatrist through the Psychiatry High-Risk Program. Dr. Kuch-Cecconi received her bachelor of science in biology from RPI in Troy, N.Y. and her doctor of medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University. After three years in the psychiatry residency at Upstate, Dr. Kuch-Cecconi was accepted into a two-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, which she completed this year.

Dr. Kuch-Cecconi is married to John Cecconi, M.D., currently practicing with St. Joseph’s Physicians Primary Care, Cazenovia.

Rachael Kuch-Cecconi is the daughter of Ellen Tillapaugh, mayor of Coop-erstown and Gary Kuch, director the of the Clark Foundation Scholarship Program.
