Babe Ruth Exhibit Opens

Eric Strohl, Baseball Hall of Fame vice president/exhibits and collections, stands with Amanda Stevens, Babe Ruth’s great-granddaughter, in “Babe Ruth: His Life and Legend,” an exhibit that opened this morning at the Hall of Fame.  Up from Cambridge, Mass. for the opening, Stevens said she was very pleased with what she saw.  “For me, it’s the family stuff that is really neat to see.” she said, pointing to a photo she had never seen before of Babe marrying his wife Claire, Amanda’s great-grandmother.  (Ian Austin/allotsego.com)
