Another Police Officer Joins

Cooperstown’s Village Force

Stephanie Thornhill, Edmeston, was sworn in as a Cooperstown police officer a few minutes ago by Village Clerk Teri Barown. Others are, from left, Mayor Jeff Katz; Daniel and Elizabeth Thornhill, the officer's parents, and Chief Mike Covert. Officer Thornhill received a bachelor's in criminal justice from SUNY Morrisville in May; earlier, she received her associate's from Onondaga Community College.
