IN MEMORIAM: Robert L. Joyce, 92

COOPERSTOWN – Robert L. Joyce, a man who had many interests and who was well-known as a prolific writer of letters to the editor, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, May 22, 2016, with family by his side at his home on Prospect Place. He was 92.

A complete obituary will be forthcoming on www.allotsego.com and in The Freeman’s Journal.

An open house will be held on Saturday, May 28,  beginning at 3 p.m. at the Joyce family home, 3 Prospect Place, Cooperstown. Lefts, Rights and Moderates are welcome to attend!

Memorial donations may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, NY  13820 or Habitat for Humanity of Otsego County,  291 Chestnut Street, Box #284, Oneonta, NY  13820-1229.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.

In Memoriam Virginia L. Stocking December 2, 1922-May 17, 2023 SPRINGFIELD CENTER—Virginia L. Stocking, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 100.  Virginia was born in Cooperstown on December 2, 1922 to Earl and Catherine Richards.
