Imaginations at Play

COOPERSTOWN—Abigal Babbitt, an Oneonta School District 11th grader, was among more than 385 artists in grades 6-12 who participated in Fenimore Art Museum’s “Young at Art!” Regional Youth Art Contest. Babbitt’s piece, titled “Nostalgic,” was recognized because it “evokes memories of the focused concentration friends experience when playing cooperative games.” Her concept, Babbitt said, “is the happiness and child-like emotion you feel when playing your favorite board game.”
