Even without the 22-room hotel proposed for Glen and Railroad avenues, Cooperstown, traffic is “like the Indy 500,” neighbor Linda Parmalee reported at a Village Board public hearing this evening.  The trustees nonetheless unanimously approved a special-use permit that allows the project, in Mike Manno’s long-vacant renovated hops-storage barn, to proceed to village Planning  Board review.  At right is the hotel developer, Perry Ferrara; in the middle is Matt Hazzard, executive director, Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce.  The trustees also set a public hearing on a SEQRA review of a CVS Pharmacy proposed for the Cooperstown Motel site at Chestnut and Beaver streets; it will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 20.  (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
