Hoping for Change in the New Year

As someone who believes in change for the better—like when I recently legally changed my name from John to Andrew—I hope the following will be changed in the City of Oneonta: a more transparent government; having due process instead of administrative fees; helping and advocacy for those who are disabled; appointing qualified people to serve as commissioners and other officials; diplomacy and ethics in City Hall; working with the people on issues they are passionate about; and doing more to curb the homeless situation as well as domestic violence, crime, and the costs of rent, so living in an apartment is affordable for the renter.
