New Season Kicks Off at a New Venue
Music is vital for communities as a universal language that unites people, creates connections and promotes cultural growth. For more than 55 years, Cooperstown Concerts has been a proud part of the local arts scene, operating as a small, independent, all-volunteer nonprofit. We strive to be your home for live music by bringing outstanding performances to people across the region, with each season featuring a wide variety of artists and genres.
Building on the momentum of a groundbreaking 2025-2026 season—which was attended by more than 1,200 people and featured six sold-out performances—we are excited to announce the launch of our 2026-2027 season. As part of our continual efforts to expand our impact in the community and find great new places in our community to enjoy live music, we are thrilled to add the Glimmerglass Festival Pavilion to our roster of premier local venues.
We invite the community to join us for these exceptional fall events:
- Sunday, September 13, 3 p.m.: The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys. We open the season with an afternoon of hard-driving, traditional bluegrass music. This Grammy-nominated band from Nashville, Tennessee will perform at our first-ever concert in the spacious Glimmerglass Festival Pavilion, bringing their authentic string wizardry and infectious harmonies to the stage.
- Sunday, October 18, 3 p.m.: Rhythm Future Quartet. Experience the vibrant spirit of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France, and enjoy gypsy jazz music at its finest. This New England-based acoustic jazz ensemble will perform a dynamic mix of gypsy jazz standards and original compositions in the intimate, rustic setting of the Fenimore Farm and Country Village.
- Sunday, November 8, 3 p.m.: Diwali Celebration. Last season, our first Diwali event was a major highlight of the fall, bringing 175 people together for a lively, jubilant community event. We are thrilled to bring back this welcoming, all-inclusive, family-friendly experience to celebrate the Festival of Lights. Hosted once again at the Fenimore Farm and Country Village, the joyful afternoon will feature live music, dancing, and a full Indian dinner buffet. We are also honored to welcome back internationally acclaimed vocalist Kiran Ahluwalia and her band, with her mesmerizing, genre-blending compositions that bridge Indian song traditions with influences from West African blues and jazz.
And there’s much more to come this season, offering something special for everyone…and it’s only just beginning. Audiences can expect another exciting lineup in the year ahead that showcases eclectic musical excellence, close to home.
The success of these community events relies on more than outstanding talent; it is built on strong support from our attendees, sponsors, donors and volunteers. Thanks to this ongoing support, Cooperstown Concerts continues to ensure that our region remains a creative, inclusive, and inspiring home for live music, now and for generations to come.
