To Little Library Opening

Elizabeth Dunn provides a comfortable backstop for Charlotte Feury, 9, as she immerses herself in Phineas and Ferb's "Agent P's Guide to Fighting Evil" at the Little Library's inaugural event, which continues until 2:30 p. m. at 42-44 Chestnut St. in Cooperstown. The Little Library is a 70-nation undertaking to help young people share books; the local effort was organized by the Marietta family, dad Andrew, mom Melissa and sisters Caroline and Charlotte. Harry Potter (Mark Conchie of Oneonta), seen in the background, showed up for the event. Among the prizes were county Treasurer Dan Crowell's "The SEWA Movement & Rural Development," won by Mia Kaltenbach, 9. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
