More Downtown Trees Come Down

Scott Capes of Central Paving, Ilion, this morning began felling the trees on the south side of Cooperstown's Main Street, in preparation for resumption of the $2 million sidewalk replacement project. Trustee Cindy Falk, who chairs the Streets Committee, said the trees may remain for now in the block in front of the Baseball Hall of Fame, since Central Paving may not be able to get that far before next spring.
