IN MEMORIAM: Dorothy May Bolton, 90;

Employed 3 Decades At Edmeston Central

BURLINGTON – Dorothy May Benjamin Bolton, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who worked at Edmeston Central School for three decades, passed away Tuesday Feb. 20, 2018 in Cooperstown.

Dorothy was born Sept. 18, 1927, in Burlington, the daughter of the late Murray and Florence Stickles Benjamin.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Bruce.

She is survived by children, Patricia , James (Tam), Jack (Gail), Thomas (Demi) Bolton, grandchildren April (Scott) Smith, Daniel (Jody), Mark (Amy), Mike (Jenilee), Jeremy (Megan), Kevin, Ryan Bolton, great-grandchildren Arissa, Avery, Alli Bolton, Anna and Benjamin Smith, Brenna, Bryce, Madison, Rory, Braelyn, Landon, Eliana, and Abner Bolton, a brother Kenneth, sisters-in-law Martha, Jeanette, and Sharon Benjamin, several nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Burlington Green Cemetery, County Rt 16 in Burlington, with Pastor Barry Davis officiating. Calling hours will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday February 23rd at the Delker and Terry Funeral Home 30 South Street Edmeston, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Burlington 225 County Highway 16 Burlington Flats, NY 13315, or the Edmeston Emergency Squad 27 East Street Edmeston, NY 13335 in loving memory of Dorothy.
