IN MEMORIAM:  Mary C. Peck, 77;

Homemaker Enjoyed 4-Wheelers

PITTSFIELD – Mary C. Peck, 77, a homemaker who enjoyed four-wheel riding on Tug Hill, passed away on Nov. 4, 2018 at Chase Nursing Home, New Berlin.

Mary was born on May 22, 1941, in Worcester, the daughter of Delmar and Thelma Woodbeck.  She was raised by foster parents, Elmer and Beulah Lent.  Her childhood was spent in the Edmeston and Otego areas.  She attended Edmeston Central School.

On Aug. 17, 1974, she married Raymond Peck who survives her.

In addition to four-wheel riding, Mary enjoyed dirt-track racing with favorite driver Billy Decker, and watching her husband playing country music in his band.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Rick (Barb) Turner and Karen Wright, both of Burlington Flats, Scott (Denise) Turner of Sherburne and Jason (Andrea) Peck of Homesville, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and one brother, Fred Woodbeck of Florida.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
