New Lisbon Tenant Held
On Meth-Making Charge
NEW LISBON – Anthony J. Pagillo, 32, was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, third degree, after his landlord saw what appeared to be drug paraphernalia in the tenant’s bedroom, sheriff’s deputies report.
“Deputies responded to the residence on Monday, Nov. 26, and observed, in plain view, chemicals and equipment commonly used to make methamphetamine in the bedroom,” according to the police report.
A search warrant was obtained and the CCSERT, the state Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team, was called in to assist.
In the bedroom, CCSERT officers allegedly found pseudoephedrine, reagents, solvents and equipment used to make meth.
The defendant was not home, but he was located yesterday in the Village of Sidney, with the help of Sidney police, and was arrested.
He was arraigned in the Town of New Lisbon Court and remanded to county jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. He is to reappear in town court Dec. 4.
