TV Actor Cuyle Carvin, Oneonta Native, Helps
Publish Comic Book Urging Kids To Be Active
ONEONTA – Oneonta’s Cuyle Carvin, who has acted in Hawaii Five-O, Criminal Minds and NCIS, allowed himself to become a cartoon character in “The Cuyle Carvin Coloring Book.”
Cuyle was very involved with the production of the non-profit book, which encourages youngsters to get active, according to Fred M. Grandinetti, F.G. Productions, Watertown, Mass., the publisher.
The actor has been distributing the comic book to various hospitals, churches and children’s organizations. “The actor has been kind enough to tape health and safety segments for my award-winning children’s series, Drawing With Fred Starring Popeye,” said Grandinetti.
Cuyle co-stars in the upcoming Hallmark film, “Mr. Fiction.” He is best known for his roles in several horror films including, “Assault of the Sasquatch,” and “Alien Opponent.” In addition to shows mentioned above, he’s appeared in The Mentalist and the ‘new’ Ironside. Cuyle has amassed quite a following, starring as Jeremy in the popular web series, “Revelations.”
