Alert To Readers

This is to alert readers of The Freeman’s Journal and Hometown Oneonta that an ad, headlined “Help Wanted: Office/Clerical,” on page B6 of this week’s editions appears to be a hoax. The local company listed no longer exists, and the telephone number listed in the ad is located in Kentucky. The ad has appeared in at least one other newspaper in the state.
