Crowd Enjoys County Bounty

At Local Foods, Local Spirits

Heather Mann of Mann Made Cakes, Oneonta, chats up her wares to Robin Torrence at Otsego 2000's "Local Foods, Local Spirits" festival last evening at the Cooperstown Farmers' Market. Her mom, Linda Burgher, proprietor of Soda Jerks, the Oneonta retro diner, assists Heather. Otsego 2000 Executive Director Ellen Pope this morning said 200 tickets were pre-sold to the event, and she estimated at least 250 -- perhaps 300 -- partook of the natural foods grown in Otsego and surrounding counties.
