CV Man Charges With Possessing Marijuana, Syringe

CHERRY VALLEY – Kyle L. Cromp, 24, of 33 Railroad Ave., was arrested at his home Friday with six ounces of marijuana valued at $2,000 and a hypodermic syringe, according to the county Sheriff’s Department.

Cromp was charged with two misdeamenors. He was arraigned by Springfield Judge Peter E. Johansen and remanded to the county jail on $1,000 bail. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail.

A computer file check on Cromp revealed that he was wanted on a November 2013 bench warrant for failing to appear in the Oneonta City Court.
