Supervisor Nomination To Sharratt

HARTWICK – The Otsego County Democratic Committee a few minutes ago gave its party’s nomination for Hartwick town supervisor to Juli Sharratt, a town board member.

When absentee ballots in the Sept. 10 primary were counted Sept. 17, it was discovered that Sharratt had tied with Bob O’Brien for the Democratic nomination.

Ties were also recorded in the Republican primary – O’Brien vs. incumbent Supervisor David Butler – and in the Conservative Primary – Sharratt vs. O’Brien.  The GOP county committee and Conservative state committee must make decisions on those two races by Friday.
