Following Craig Biggio; 2 More To Go

John Smoltz, the former Atlanta Brave who is in this year’s four-player Induction Class at the Baseball Hall of Fame, is facing a phalanx of photographers and reporters at this hour in the Hall of Plaques as he undergoes his pre-Induction orientation. Houston Astro Craig Biggio went through orientation last week, which leaves Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez to round out the class.  Last year, covering the Induction for the MLB Network, he told reporters, he was asked, Will you be back next year?  “I”ll be covering it,” he replied.  “Or I’ll never be covering it again.”  (JIm Kevlin/allotsego.com)
