Mayor To Discuss ‘On Boarding’
City Manager, Charter Changes
ONEONTA – Mayor Miller plans to discuss the “on boarding” of the new city manager, Marty Murphy, during his report to Common Council at its meeting tonight. Murphy, appointed Sept. 4, starts work Oct. 1.
The mayor will also discuss proposed plans to respond to the recommendations of the Charter Review Commission, formed to examine implementation of the new city charter after the resignation of the first city manager, Mike Long, in May. Miller said he plans to scheduled a second meeting to review the specifics.
