New Trees Expected Today

In Downtown Cooperstown

COOPERSTOWN – Wayne White, a partner in All Seasons Landscaping, Lowville, said the 17 trees that will be planted on the northside of Cooperstown’s Main Street should be delivered at 9 a.m. today.  He expects all the trees to be planted by the end of the day.

All trees were removed from the north side of the street in the spring to make way for a $2 million redo of the downtown sidewalks in the mecca of baseball.

Check back later today for photos of the trees, and read The Freeman’s Journal, on newsstand this afternoon, for further details.
