Oneonta History Center Ready

To Install Shaft, Then Elevator

Construction was completed in recent days in the back corner of the Oneonta History Center in preparation for the construction of a concrete blockl elevator shaft, then the elevator itself. The work is preliminary to completing renovation of the second floor into a research center and the third-floor ballroom into a social center. Examining the work are, from left, Carol Murphy, GOHS Executive Director Bob Brzozowski, and board members Mike Murphy (who is overseeing the work) and MJ Kevlin. (Jim Kevlin/allotsego.com)
