Oneonta Hydrant Flushing Starts Again Monday

ONEONTA – The city Department of Public Service will be flushing hydrants in the high-service area starting Monday. The work is expected to take three to four days.

Affected areas include West Street north of Clinton Street, College Terrace, Suncrest Terrace, Overlook Drive, Ravine Parkway; Bugbee Road west of Crestmont Terrace, College Park Drive, Brigham Road, Carson Road, and Farone Drive.

During flushing, water users may experience a change in water color and/or pressure. This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm.

For questions, please call the Department of Public Service at (607) 432-2100.
