Art & Music Festival Thrives In Former Locale

Kim Condon, Oneonta, hands Richard Birkett, Otego, the Best in Show Award for his intricate Fantasty Clocks. Each piece is meticulously assembled from hundreds of objects including toys, gears, hinges, pipes, slide viewers, old photographs, springs and more. Birkett was one of many artists who lined Main St. this afternoon for the 14th Annual City of the Hills Art & Music Festival this afternoon. Shoppers could browse pottery, jewlery, paintings, clothing and photography while enjoying readings from area authors, live music, belly-dancing, and children's activities. (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)

Family Fun At The Peep Show!

Manny Peligra, Oneonta and Senior Associate Director of Admissions at Hartwick college, looks over the submissions to the 16th annual Peep Show with his granddaughters Bella and Illiana in the Anderson Center this afternoon. The show, judged by Elizabeth Ayer, featured a wide range of artworks created in honor of the marshmallow treats in all their forms with mediums ranging from ceramic, steel, illustration and of course Peeps.  The event is organized by Kappa Pi, the campus’ newly formed branch of the international art and art history honorary society.(Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
