IN MEMORIAM:  Bruce N. Buffett, 66; Cooperstown Central Standout Athlete COOPERSTOWN — Bruce Nathaniel Buffett, 66, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, of natural causes at his home in Norfolk, Va. Buffett was born in Huntington, Long Island, on Jan. 13, 1953, and was proud of the fact he was descended from three families who settled on Long Island in the 1630s, the Buffett, Conklin, and Sammis families.
