COOPERSTOWN – The League of Women Voters of the Cooperstown Area will host a “Meet Your Candidates Night” for the village of Cooperstown election 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 9, in the Village Meeting Room, 22 Main St.  All are invited.

Two trustee positions are open this year and two incumbents, Cynthia Falk and James Dean, are running again, along with John Sansevere, a new challenger.

This meeting will be an opportunity for citizens to be face to face with the trustee candidates to ask questions, make recommendations and present opinions and for the trustees to explain decisions and inform constituents about future plans and their vision for the village.

The village election is Wednesday, March 18.
